RHC Queue trolls

So, since random dungeon finder got introduced to Lordaeron trolls have taken their toll, what they do is they Q for RHC as tank or heal to get it pop faster and then just decline or wait for invite to expire, they never accept invites, and other 4 players have to accept it because we can't know if it's real or not.

My suggestion is that if you decline or ignore RDF invite more than X times in X minutes you get deserter debuff. Thanks.

Or the feature I suggested could be implemented and make it simpler for everyone, it's nothing game changing I am not asking for instant level 80 server, I am asking for a simple and gentle punishment for child's play. And RDF and heirlooms are the best thing that has came here since ICC release, now it's way easier to get into dungeons while I do other stuff, like farm herbs, build my professions, I don't have to spam global for 2 hrs for a tank,and then fly to dungeon and then summon everyone, or do Gundrak everyday for 2 EoF, there are trolls I mentioned but they won't ruin it for me neither will nostalgic "hard core" players. I am looking for a simple yes or no answer for my suggestion, sarcastic comments don't do any good to anyone.

Actually Skuddy's suggestion is pretty good. Keep forming groups like before but just queu up in RDF hc when you are 5/5 people. This will get rid of your problem with the trolls and you can get the quality players which you like according to your gs /ilvl preference.

I can't see why is anyone defending trolls, but anyways, doing that kind of contradicts my point, doing other stuff and not caring about assembling group while doing so, if I have to spam global for RDF then what's the point, disagreeing for the sake of argument is pointless.

It's a good idea as long as the number of attempts is chosen wisely to avoid DPS getting a debuff for missing an invite due to longer waiting times.

Maybe if you decline 3 invites in 5 minutes, you get 30 minutes deserter debuff, seems fair.

it falls under custom content, which they generally avoid.

never said rdf/looms was a good/bad thing. don't play on lord so it's irrelevant to me.

i wasn't being sarcastic. trolls are part of the rdf system. you wanted the rdf system, you take it with all its perks and it's faults.

then you'll just get people doing what they already do on icecrown, they join the group, than either go afk until kicked, or request to be kicked and won't run the dungeon. like it or not you are not going to eliminate trolls.

Actually this would eliminate trolls, on certain server, not to mention names, this thing was too present then they added punishment for trolls, and there they were gone. Just like that. If someone gets deserter debuff then he can't troll that much.

And just out of blue you assumed that trolls have 10 chars and that they will be so dedicated to troll that they will log one after another and keep on their mission?

I am pretty sure it doesn't give deserter but it's supposed to. Fixing it would solve that part of the problem.

The suggestion is custom content, but if it can fix the problem, there is a good reason for it. But RDF system should be mostly fixing the problem on its own if its working properly. When someone declines RDF invitation, he has to queue again and end up at the end of the queue, while the rest of the group is at the beginning of the queue. If another healer or tank was in queue, he should be picked before the person who did not enter dungeon and queued again, so it should not make queue much longer. The problems that remain are dungeon invitation spam and possibility that a healer or tank queues during that time and the group misses it.

i can guarantee you some will, yes.

if being kicked is suppose to give deserter than indeed that needs to be fixed.

People do this because they can enter the RDF while being in combat in the outside world, for example.
You can dismount 100 yards in the air to kill a guy on a mount, enter RDF right as your about to hit the ground, teleport out and not die.
Use the RDF as life insurance basicly, this works if your about to get ganked too, just teleport in to avoid danger.

Ever since some streamer used to do it in open world pvp in wintergrasp, a lot of people do it now.
