So basicly, i leveled a mage to 70 on loardaron somewhere around when it was released. Eventually real life came along and i stopped playing for probably about a year or more.
Now recently i felt like playing a bit of the server, but i dont really feel like playing dps in the endgame anymore. Id love to play a priest instead. What is the proper way to go about things to prepare a character switch.
TLDR :
What do people look for in a character on the trading system? Naked? Professions? Rep?
How much do you usually see fresh 70/80s with professions go for?
Shoudl i finish the leveling up to 80, or do 70s sell good enough to already initiate the trade?
Id be willing to directly trade characters with somebody else. Is it possible to do it without the sell/buy function, eg, direct trade with a certain fixed fee?
How far does a good nickname go?
This is a question probably better answered in the Loraeron trade subforum.
If you're going to attempt a "character switch" via the marketplace, you will need to invest at least the 10 coins to get account to premium status, as well as several days of downtime.
Once your account is premium, you put your character up for sale in the trade marketplace; it will sit on the marketplace (unusable by you during that time) waiting to sell, depending on the price you list (on the big servers, even bare-minimum priced characters do not sell; typically a character needs to have some titles, max professions, vanity mounts, etc. to be desirable; lordaeron may be different) Warmane will take a 15% cut of your coin sale, and then 3 days later you may use the 85% of coins that you retain. Then it's up to you to determine what to purchase based on the coins you now have; you'll have to browse the trade section to determine if there's anything you even want.
