Deleted Characters, account probably stolen.

I was playing the game and I shut the game just for a moment. After a few minutes I wanted to go back because I was't able to log into the game because it always told me I am putting in invalid information. Then I tried to log into the Warmane website and it told me I am using invalid information. So I reseted my password and then it worked. And when I logged into the game all my characters were gone. Is it possible to restore my characters or are they gone forever?
