WotLK IceCrown Lag?

Recently I have been getting around 1,500 to 2,500 ping. Normally I would get around 100-200ms ping. Have the servers changed location? or is there some sort of maitenence happening?

I have the exact same issue, exact same time frame. My internet speed is fine using several speed tests. I have no issues with any other game.

Same here. I can stream or do anything else just fine. But in game I have a red lag bar and it's virtually unplayable.

In the U.S., ATT is my internet provider.

I've found that playing later in the night (eastern standard time) give pretty normal ping, but anything before that it's like 5,000ms ping.

But I've played this server for years with a fine connection. Just recently has it gotten bad. In all my other games I have the exact same ping that I've had for years.

There are two things that could be happening (I think):
1) My service provider has only decided to block and purposefully slow down my connection to the warming servers (but hasn't to any other game i play)
2) warmane might be having some problems connecting players from the united states in a timely manner

For Troubleshooting purposes it would be good to know where are hosted other games that work fine? They might’ve made changea towards Europe and that wouldn’t be surprising since 90% of Americana think everywhere’s desert outside the States. I am pretty sure you wouldn’t get answer out of your ISP’s representative so the quickest thing would be going to your pals and testing if they are with different ISP.

I can say that Century Link works just fine.

Also having HUGE latency spikes as of about 4-5 days ago. Running up to 6-10k MS at times even. Its insane. SOTA is virtually unplayable, AV the same, and honestly it's even getting bad just regularly int he world now.

Do you have ATT internet? because i do and lehr99 has it as well

Same amount of latency has been happening to me, around the same timeframe. Really frustrating, makes raids and BGs unplayable
