Tracking not available

Been a while since I played, but started a new character, turned on automatic quest tracking but have no option to show objectives on minimap. The quest are only "text" to the right of the screen and does not have the golden circle with 1, 2 etc, and minimpa isn't showing where to go to do the quest. What am I missing here?

open the map, at the bottom right corner active " show quest "

On TBC realm this is not available, you need to use some addon
