[ANSWERED]Transmogified set bonus loss

Good day Warmane,

I am new to using the scrolls of deception but I've noticed on myself and other player's toons that it shows a loss of set bonus when you transmog a set item to an item not of that set. I made a bug ticket but it was deleted quickly so it made me think this question has been answered already. After days of forum research I couldn't find an answer or anything related.

Do you in fact loose your set bonus on a transmogified item?
