WotLK Stuck at Connecting

So my game is stuck at connecting even though my brother who's playing in the next room connected to the server just fine. Ive restated several times and have check all over for fixes and nothing has worked. Wondering if I could get some insight. Also if there was a way to get my client to not reset my settings every time I launched it that would be great as well.

there can be many issues causing this, mainly this is usually because it is blocked within the connection itself somewhere, did you try perhaps moving the folder from C: Drive to the desktop or the other way around for that case, also make sure to run it as administrator as that can also be an issue / cause of it, make sure that it arent blocked through any firewalls and in case it is then you can either disable or manually enable the program through the firewall.

Also make sure that your connection is set properly and that you havent connection issues by your own.
