Which one to download to start the game

Hi,

There are 6 servers listed on your website, each costs 8gigas - 20+ gigas to download.

Suppose, I want to have a try at each and every single one of them (Outland, Lordaeron, Icecrown, Blackrock, Neltharion, Frostwolf),

do you think downloading MIST OF PANDARIA client only (biggest client) will be enough? I got limited internet quota.

You need client for the expansion you want to play. MoP client will only work with MoP realm (Frostwolf).

Another question,
I got 15 gigas a month and MoP FULL takes about 28 gigas. Is there a way to download and play now then continue updating next month?

I am thinking of downloading MoP MINIMAL which takes about 16 gigas and update it to MoP full next month when I have enough quota.

MoP minimal client is 16 MB not 16 GB. It downloads all the content while you are playing. But you can't control how much it downloads.

what is the difference between Wrath of the lich king 18g and wrath of the lich king (old) 16g clients?


By the way, why MoP population so low compared to Woltk? MoP is the newest, isn't it?

Wotlk 16 gb = Standard Wotlk
Wotlk 18 gb = Wotlk with WoD models ( just a visual difference). Not recommended, it may cause crashes

Yes, MoP is more recent than Wotlk.

I downloaded woltk with WoD model, 18g one. I do not like the new toons/characters model, not cute enough for me like old ones.
Is there a way to change it to normal/old one?
There is no way I can afford to download another 16g.

You can delete these files to turn it into a regular wotlk client:
Data\patch-w.mpq
Data\patch-x.mpq

I haven't used it so I don't know. And it might download the data you need at that moment faster than the other data. So if you choose to use it, you would have to monitor your data usage.

It variates on how much content you play,if you explore zones and do stuff like dung,raids it will download much,but even if you are just chilling at Stormwind for example it should download same stuff as well,but i don't recommend it if your internet speed is not decent bcs your ping will be high as your game is downloading.

When i used that client i had full MoP explanison after like 2 weeks of playing,approx of 2-5h gameplay per day,so i hope it helps,regards.

ye, you level up faster.
