Technical Account incorrectly banned for Advertising

Good evening Warmane support team,


My account was banned due to advertising. I can only assume that this must be a mistake, as I do not advertise anything in any channel with the exception of "queue 5v5" lol.


Can I get some clarification on why this ban was placed on my account, and lift the ban if possible? I definitely have never done any form of advertising that could be seen as malicious or for personal profit to my knowledge. The IP authentications I see on my account were from my local IP from my computer and my mobile phone, I dont see any IP's on my history that were from any sources other than myself, and I do not utilize a VPN.


Please look into my ban ASAP as I am not only confused, but a bit frustrated as the ban was placed on my account as soon as we started raiding Black Temple.


If you need any information from me to assist in any investigation please reach out to me through DM or the email i've already sent to [email protected]. I realize this will likely be handled through that email chain but wanted to exhaust every possible avenue to bring attention to my issue

Same, my IP was just banned for "Advertising". Don't know what this is about and I can't open a ticket.

Its because your ip is similar to networks of advertisers. We are going to do a little update on the scanner to give it more precision.

Glad to see other people are having the same issue. Me and my friend Jonnypus (same IP) were also banned for Advertising. It would be great if we could get an unban, we recently found out about the TBC server and are enjoying it greatly.

If you think to not deserve such ban go: https://www.warmane.com/account > support > Create ticket > ban appeal

if you can not create such ticket send an email to [email protected] instead

I have looked at your information, there doesn't appear to be a ban in place.
