Technical Restarting game causes loss of settings (resolution, effect etc)

Hello there,

This afternoon i decided to download the Wotlk 3.3.5a wod models game.
I downloaded all of it and launched the game to check if it worked, now i noticed that everytime i quit the game, all my settings reset.
For example i start the game and put my resolution to 1920x1080 and quit the game after the that, it forgets the settings and returns to the standard which is 1024x??? or something i'm not too sure.

So yes, can anyone help me out?

I have played alot of Wotlk in the past and never had this problem before.

follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

If that doesn't work, there are plenty of other people having this "issue". It's due to not giving the game the time needed or following the steps needed for the game to save your settings. Delete your WTF and Cache folder. Load game, log in, change settings, then close the game using the game menu(ESC Key). DO NOT ALT F4 or close the window. The last step is what gives the game the notification to save your settings.
