Settings not saving

So every time i start the game, it starts in 1080x920 or something and i always have to set it to max and then windowed then back to full screen JUST so i can have it at the right resolution. I was wondering if there is a way to make sure that my settings save, I even have to accept the two terms and conditions thing EVERY time i open the game. its getting really annoying. I'm scared of using any macros or addons because its just not going to save.

follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

I've already done all of those things, the settings just don't save

Delete your WTF folder. Launch the game, log in, change settings. Exit the game using the Game Menu (ESC Key). DO NOT ALT F4 or close the window. That saves your changes.

nope that hasnt worked either, everything gets reset back to first time launch settings
