Burning Crusade Missing Gold??

Two Characters are missing several hundred gold, ~100g on the character Adarc and 300g on the Character Barnan. both characters where not in the same place where they where logged out.

Inventory content appears unchanged.

I had purchased Instant 70 for Barnan earlier and moved the Character to Outland before logging out and was in Mulgore when i returned.

Adarc was in Hellfire peninsula when i logged out and was outside Shattrath in terrokkar when i returned.

I suspect my account was hacked? is there anything someone can do to help?

Stolen gold can not be restored. Change your password and consider enabling 2 step authentication to make sure it doesn't happen again.
