Hello,

I have a simple suggestion that could have a large impact on Quality of Life.

Add server-wide announcements when any of the following happens:
-A team queues for Rated BG
-A team queues for any arena (2v2, 3v3, 5v5)
-A player joins the Random Battleground queue

The announcement would look something like:


This tends to work well on realms with smaller population, and boosts PvP activity quite well. It shouldn't be too much of a spam, but if it is, it can be fine tweaked (only Random BG queue could be an issue in any case I feel).
