WotLK WOTLK(old client) RESOLUTION NOT CHANGABLE,game goes NOT RESPONDING.

As the title says i cant change the resolution of the game .Every time i do the game goes not responding and i even have to restart the computer because i cant start the task manager...
Uhh....thats just blaaaaah.

That did not work :
1) Restart your PC ( this is important in your case)
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".

Go to WoW/WTF folder, open config and manually change the resolution.

SET gxResolution "1680x1050" <- just replace the numbers inside with desired ones.

Just windoed + maximized it and it worked ...its the same but it thought there is a normal way.
