Where to start?

Hello,

I am new here and try to find the right Realm for me.
Is there a WOTLK Realm where you can still progress and ICC is not all on farm?
Is there an intention to start a Realm new from scratch at one time?

1) All content for WotLK is released. However, the server Lordaeron has buffed raids so there are fewer guilds on farm (I believe).
2) There is no plan to reset servers or make new servers.

Icecrown has a large population, but during peak hours there is a several hour queue to log in if you do not donate to skip the queue. There is an item shop where nearly every item (including Shadowmourne) is available for purchase. Large population also means huge competition for farming and money making. Upside is due to large pop, there is a lot going on all the time. The server is 7x for xp and rep, 5x for gold (I believe), and 3x for professions.

Lordaeron has a smaller population, but that means no queue to log in. It also means slightly less competition for farming and money making. At the same time there are fewer activities going on at a given time. Also, the coin store is disabled on Lordaeron meaning gear is earned, not bought. Server is 1x rates across the board.

No Lordaeron was a progression realm released a couple years ago but its fully progressed now, highly unlikely they do another
