My friend and I want to donate, but he's afraid that he will be scammed for some reason. Is there we should expect something after donation with our cards or it's all fine? I strongly believe there's no scams tho.

Lots of people have donated without any issues. However, if either you or your friend are uncomfortable donating directly with a credit/debit card, I believe it's still entirely possible to donate via prepaid Subway, Dollar General or CVS Pharmacy card through Openbucks, as well.
