When trying to buy this item from the transmog NPC by itemID the following error appears;

You can never use this transmog

While having a dagger equipped.

This dagger is specifically stated as a main hand dagger. I am not entirely sure whether that is the case, but main hands = main hands and off hands = off hands. If you are trying to transmogify it over an off hand weapon, that might be the causation of the issue.

No I was trying to do it off the s7 main hand dagger.
