Please Warmane staff I implore you, keep the current system but enable cross faction as you originally intended.

At this stage its safe to say that crossrealm in it's current implementation has improved the wait time considerably, but at the cost of making BGs incredibly one sided and unfair. I am an Icecrown Alliance player with several BIS characters and I currently find BGs incredibly dull. I do not enjoy rolling over a team full of 5.5k players, but sadly this is how the majority of matches are currently going (not considering premades).

Cross realm is a fantastic idea and I appreciate the hard work and effort the staff have went to get it implemented, but the original idea of true crossrealm including cross faction was what should have been implemented. I am saddened that the staff changed their implementation to cater to a vocal minority who didn't want their aesthetic appearance to change occasionally only in certain battlegrounds - as myself and many were really looking forward to the novelty of playing as a horde against fellow alliance players. It would add a whole new dynamic to battlegrounds and revitalize community interest.

Cross faction would also remedy a plethora of other problems that the current system exacerbates. The human racial for example is a hotly contested subject. True cross faction would mean the "OP Humans" would be divided evenly or randomly between the teams which would be a very elegant way to balance the teams and remove the frustrations of many players. Whereas changing the human racial or buffing the PvP trinket would be a much larger departure from being a Blizzlike server.

It's also common knowledge that the players that gravitate toward the Alliance are more PvP focused and Horde PvE for the aforementioned reasons. Also due to the horde racials being far superior in PvE content. Cross faction would go a long way to address this imbalance of skill as well as gear and I am certain it would attract more Horde to participate in PvP.

The number of benefits that cross faction would present vastly outweigh the one negative - occasionally upsetting a few role playing focused players, who probably aren't that interested in BGs anyway.

TL:DR Cross faction Pros and Cons

Pros:
* Evenly distribute Icecrown players between both teams to address gear imbalance
* Remove the contention of the human racial being OP as they are also distributed to both teams
* Create a more even mix PvP and PvE focused players
* Make BGs more far interesting/challenging rather than the current graveyard farm that turns away many players
* Avoid having to make unnecessary non-blizzlike balance changes to overcome the Horde deficit


Cons:
* A small minority of players will be occasionally upset when they are assigned to the opposite faction (very small price to pay)
