WotLK Cant dimiss pet on hunter

Hello.

I can't dismiss my pet on my hunter as it seems liked it bugged out in the quest where i had to tame a web spider, after i tamed the spider it wouldnt follow, but the quest was still able for turn in, so i did and got the next quest to tame a nightstalker. As i tried to tame the nightstalker it said i have already tamed a pet, so i tried yet again to dismiss the spider but without luck. I then tried to reload as i know that can help sometimes. When it loaded back in the pet was gone, but when i tried to tame the nightstalker once again, it said the same.

Can i get some help with this issue please?
