Missing quests for Gnomish/Goblin Engineering when buying Profession Upgrade

Hey everyone,

I bought the Engineering profession without all recipies for my rogue on Icecrown, with Coins. I got the 450 skill level when I logged in, but when I wanted to go pick up the quest to get Gnomish Engineering in Booty Bay, the NPC there didn't offer me any quests. Is that a bug or is there something else I'm missing? Thanks for any answers.

That toon did the specialization quest? You can check it in the general tab of spellbook. Or you can try to go to tanaris to switch specialization?

No, the quests aren't even there, that's the problem :D The NPC that should have the quest, doesn't have it on him.

Guess its bugged then. I kinda saw ppl keep asking for that quest in global.
