Hi, I'm a new WoW player and I have one question. I currently have 5k GS and no longer need items to buy with the Emblem of Triumph currency. So what can I buy for this currency now? What do you buy for EoF?

ok so the easy thing: eot goes for heirlooms and purple gems..

eof.. well, ofc the most important are the set items, because there is no other way to get them (head, shoulder and chest, l&h are from voa if you're lucky), and a trinket as you are rng-ing these with many others

still, have a look if any of the items have a best in slot icc one: ie, for fire mages, you don't actually need to get the chest from the set, because it is calculated that with the robe of the walking nightmares you'd get the best stats

on the other hand, for ahem raid leader (assasination) rogue, the eof trinket (war token) is kind of bis.. well for how long is up to opinion but :d


now, once you have checked these and if you have free eof, look for other items with stats you like, or pvp - ie the mail waist for ele/resto shams

but again, if you don't want to screw yourself, it is best to ask on trade/global for the best items for your class, as there are bosses usually played on hc in icc, with less competition, also how far raids usually go etc


lastly, mind that slowly getting x2 eof from daily rdf to get gs is a horrible idea. xd

if you just want to join raids, take the fos/pos/hor hc items, the 245 eot ring and trinket, add what eof items you have, and finish with 2-3 pvp items (bgs, arena, wintergrasp) - cast on them blue/green enchants and use blue (not green!) gems.. then just look for alt and rep runs, but mind they wont go past the third boss! ofc, if you are in a guild, it is much easier :p
