How are you? I would like to know exactly why I was banned by ninja? The only incident I remember is a player who got upset about throwing a piece of plates in need. and the player in question is a priest and I am a paladin, so it is not clear to me where I appropriately and unfairly appropriated something

On Icecrown, I noticed many people getting banned for ninja in dungeon. Sometimes, I see about 10 people banned for it in the chat log within a hour. Its quite strange because you would think that people who are thinking of ninja in dungeon would not do it since so many people get banned for it. I believe the reason many people are getting banned for ninja is confusion over the rules of what is declared a ninja. For example, needing on a spell pwr item as a feral druids for off-spec, and the resto druid healer getting mad.

Since the priest can't wear plate armor, this story makes no since.

You are supposed to press Need only if you actually need it for the spec you are using at that moment. If you want it for other reasons, you should press Greed. If it was not for your main spec, he was probably upset because he also wanted the item (for example, for disenchanting or selling) and if you pressed Greed, everyone would have equal chance of getting it. If that's what happened, you could get banned for ninja looting because of it. If you actually needed the item for main spec, even if you got reported for this, the GM should have noticed that you actually needed the item.

rolling need on any item you don't need as an upgrade is ninja looting. whether you agree with it or not doesn't matter. next time don't need on **** you don't actually need.

It is an invented rule that nobody likes, and stops being so clown and pedantic, remember that legality is not synonymous with right, slavery was legal but not correct, so keep your opinion and if you don't like mine then bad luck, and if you like the stupid rule that invented you can put it you know where to be part of you

That 4g plate might be nothing to somebody, but it could be upgrade to somebody else.

Have fun running in RDF HC trying to gear up when a high gs "warrior" needs on every single item. Only to destroy them and gain gold from it. Yeah, you try to gear yourself so you don't have to rely on RDF HC while others get richer. Sure sounds fun new player experience.

It's literally the rule of every server, and has been like that ever since the game launched.

You keep acting like a kid on their high horse, when the problem here is that YOU don't understand the basic principles of need/greed.

You have two options; Learn the game or stay ignorant and keep getting banned.

doesn't matter if nobody likes it. their server their rules. so as i said, if this rule bothers you that much, go play somewhere else.
