Technical I got banned for no reason?

Hello, when i joined in WOW today, i saw that i have ban for ninja looting. I looted only plate items (which are for my paladin), and my team told me to stop, cuz its ninja looting so i stoped (ignoring the fact that i wear plate). And now i have ban, cuz i looted items for me ?

You should only need on items that is an upgrade for the spec/role you are playing in the dungeon, if its not an upgrade you should greed. If your party told you to stop needing on plate it sounds like you were needing on plate that you should have been greeding on instead

But I stopped when they told me to stop and they report me again and now i'am banned.....

Meaning yes, fine. I made a mistake, but I stopped and by the end of the dungeon I rejected everything.
I could continue to do it, right? But no, and again - ban? Logic????
