Technical Characters deleted with paid gears on it

Hi,

I have already sent an email and it has been suggested to bring this here.

I have been paid for inheritance gears a few years ago while playing on this server. I stopped playing Wow fro a while and wanted to come back on Warmane. Apparently the server I was playing on has been deleted and my characters/ stuff with it. I feel a bit robbed as it says that being a premium account will avoid deletion of inactive accounts. Ok my account has not been deleted but if you delete the characters on it, it is quite similar. Then I had the nice
"No, sorry. You simply missed the timeframe for transfers etc." Was all the answer I got, but since I did not receive any email to do so that's quite obvious I would miss it.

Is there any way I can have my stuff back ( should not be that hard since everything I bought is still in my account history) I guess it's not possible for my characters but I would not understand why it is impossible to get the gears...

If the server you played on was deleted you can't do anything about it. When You donate You get coins as an "thank you" gift - thus you can buy items with it. But if anything happens to the server you play on, they won't refund you.

1st of all was your characters on a cataclysm realm? because that realm / server dosen't even exist anymore.
2nd What is "inheritance" gears and how did you get paid for it.
3rd if your characters was on a realm that's still alive they would still be there.
4th Premium account still gives you several benefits, such as skipping queue for the "Icecrown" realm.
