Technical [error] Not enough memory resources

Hello,

Recently I started encountering something rather weird. Every time I go to Dalaran, the game crashes and I get these 2 errors. It hasn't happened anywhere else so far.




It seems illogical to me that there is not enough memory available as I have 16 GB RAM and I pretty much built this PC only for WoW and haven't tinkered with the OS at all. I got only WoW and some miscellaneous programs installed.

I believe it is worth noting that I have put most of the updated Legion graphics patches (from a guide on this forum). Maybe it is related but I am not really sure.

Has anyone encountered something similar or perhaps know a remedy to this problem ?

Wotlk Wow.exe is a 32 bit application so it has access to limited amount of RAM. Being in Dalaran at high graphics settings and especially with updated character models can make it run out of memory.

You can make your Wow.exe large address aware to increase its available memory, which will solve the issue: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...-aware.112556/
