WotLK The Purification of Quel` Delar

As you might have correctly guessed, the problem arose in quel`delar quest chain.
In Sunwell, to be more precise, I went with the other guy, who was doing the same quest. We both launched the process of purification, yet only he has received "restored quel`delar". On contrary, I was neither able to pick it up, nor am I able to start everything from the beginning as tempered quel`delar has disappeared from my inventory as well.
I`m not sure if it is possible to provide quest item so that it is possible that I finish this troublesome quest.

Hello guys, I am running into the same problem that was reported 2 years ago:

So I started to do the Battered Hilt quests, everything was fine until I got to the [The Purification of Quel'Delar] where I was supposed to go into Sunwell Plateau and use the item that the quest had given me, The item of the quest when opening the result I could not get the item for my bag, I had available space, but clicking on Complete Quest button the quest would not complete, and I had to close the window. I cannot open the quest again. I lost the item that the quest had given me (Tempered Quel'Delar) and now I cannot pick up the follow up "Journey To The Sunwell".

I have opened a ticket in-game, but most GMs just send you to the forums without even trying to help.
