Packet Loss between me and Warmane - connection issues HELP!
So my own connection is solid. Everytime I do a speed test, it is pretty good and have no issues. But I experience a lot of lag sometimes and a lot of delays. I have been running pingplotter to see what is happening between me and warmane and it usually have packet loss. How can I fix this?? I am really frustrated.
EDIT:
This is the ping between me and "icecrown server." So right now, in Icecrown, I have massive delay and high MS (1500 MS+) and it is pretty much unplayable.
I logged Blackrock and its 100 MS, very normal and no lag. This is because blackrock is a different server than Icecrown. I think the routing are different to these 2 different servers. I just dont know how to fix it or what is the way around it.... Any Warmane staff knowledgeable with this ?
Nope, nothing you can do. Icecrown is under heavy load these past few days (or weeks) and it's reflected in it's latency.
Another cause of your packet loss might be your ISP which is also probably under much higher than usual load, even YouTube and Netflix reduced their streaming quality in Europe, that's a nice indicator of just how much did the traffic increase these past few weeks.
You can try those "latency reducing" programs, I never trusted them, but people say they work. They basically reroute your connection through their servers which might be closer to warmane (or under lower load) and claim to reduce latency.

if it was my ISP, the same would have happened with Blackrock, but no. Blackrock has no lag at all for me and no delay in anyway.
And what programs do you know of that are free to reduce latency ? share some if you know! thanks
There's WTFast but that's a paid service afaik. I think there were a couple of free options but I can't remember the names of those.
If blackrock is fine then it's just the server. I'm having no packet loss with Icecrown, but latency does go up sometime during the day, noticeable but normal consider the number of players. I can only recommend playing PVP on Icecrown since Arena/BG are on a separate server (maybe Blackrock) and they aren't half as impacted as Icecrown part is.

Its not exactly the server itself, its the routing to the server. You can see the photo I included. Half way there, there is a big messy packet loss. I think the routing to Blackrock is different that is why! I can try test and see but I am pretty sure its different route since I am not experiencing any of this lag.
