Technical Extremely high ping after login.

Hi,

I am posting on behalf of my friend who started playing yesterday.

He logs into his account and everything is fine ping wise, then he tries to cast a spell or talk to an NPC and his ping suddenly decided to shoot up to around 22000ms and just sits there lagging. We've removed all addons, done internet and pc restarts, checked resource monitor on his PC to see if anything is using the network but nothing.

The strange thing is that his brother is online in the server in the room next to him on the same internet and has absolutely no issues at all.

Any ideas?

Is he connected to the internet using Wifi ?

Yes he is and he's got a strong connection. Re reinstalled today and port forwarded all the wow ports we could find also but still to no avail.

Ever since yesterday I've been experiencing unplayable latency 10k +. so now because everyone is at home logged in at the same time its totally unplayable im just flying around in non populated area with 10k ms. RDF is impossible, im the tank and cant hold agro everything freezes as combat starts. and unlags itself after combat
