Odd frame drops and freezes.

Hi there,

New to the server.. we just hit Borean Tundra a few levels ago, and sometimes, out of the blue, the game just freezes up.. for 30 seconds at times.. then back to normal.. we're 5 people playing together, and we all have the same problems.

Also, at certain angles, my fps goes from 150-200 to 10 fps, but then i can move it just an inch, and it's 200 again, then back to the previous point, and it goes to 10.. it's really really odd...

Do you guys have any idea what could cause this?

I guess it is related to "Borean Tundra". (maybe to some mobs spawning)
So, once you guys move on the next zone it should be fine.

I remember the same happening to me while in "Howling Fjord"

Still, 2 levels in a zone with absurd lag and frame drops, has to be fixed :)

Borean Tundra FPS issues are here present for a year atleast. Staff hasn't addressed it since it came to be.77
As far as I could tell it's related to certain areas (parts of the map) only. I got the same thing in Icecrown when looking at a certain part of the map. Nothing you can do about it except avoid it.

Move to Howling Fjord or try to get out as fast as possible. You could also try leveling strictly through dungeons if it's that problematic.

I experienced the same in alliance city in Borean Tundra, there was a specific spot if I walked around it, i would get that frame drops. So I think the map is bugged. Just get out of it as soon as you can. Level 72 or 73 you should leave it tbh.

It's just sooo annoying... being jumped in pvp and THEN the ****ing zone locks up for 30 seconds to a minute... and boom, you're dead...
It's so baaad.
