1. Lost Account, My Emails Ignored!

Hi, so I've found myself in a confusing situation: back in December, I logged onto my account after a 2 month-long break to find that someone has clearly been playing on my main (different keybinds, an arena team I've never created and lots of new people on the friend list). I fixed my char and changed my password (receiving the link to my email address) knowing that it would be impossible for the other person to change the email address without the new password. However, literally 2 days later I was unable to log in, and when I tried to reset my password, I did not get an email. Neither did I get a second or third or fourth email when I tried again. I then found the [email protected] email and explained the situation to them, trying to recover my account. My email was completely ignored. I then had to leave my PC behind and lost access to it for another 4 months, which brings us to today.

Today, knowing that I'd get no help from Warmane staff, I tried creating a new account using my old email — since that is not in use anymore — only to be greeted with an error message saying that it is, in fact, in use. Could you please recover my account? I might be missing a crucial detail here because I simply do not understand how it's possible to hijack an account without knowing the password nor the email to the account.

    Thanks

  2. People have ways. If you knew your account was compromised, why didn't you enable 2FA? Changing your password isn't enough. Send them another email.

Unfortunately, "People have ways" isn't informative. And yes, not enabling 2FA is a huge mistake on my part and I keep kicking myself for it. However, that's not an option anymore. I also did — reluctantly — send them another email earlier today, but I want to make sure they get it this time.

  4. contact [email protected] again.

That is the only thing you can do. (it might take even 7 days for an answer). Be patience

Sorry, I don't know the details behind compromising accounts. They brute forced it, you have a keylogger, I don't know. Why does it matter? Only thing you can do it send an email, and you did. Not wait.
