Question about which piece of gear to donate for (Hunter)

Hey all, I'm a MM hunter, and earlier today I donated for gear for the first time ever to treat myself. I bought the 284 xbow and the TDS trinket hc, mainly because I see those pieces as being extremely difficult to obtain, and I read somewhere that both are fairly noticeable dps boosters. I have some coins left over, however, enough for one more bis piece and I'm wondering which one I should get for him. I heard the leggings of northern lights is tough because most raids don't do LDW25HC. Thoughts?
