My idea is to have a Battle.net like system across all Warmane servers. I think a player on Lordaeron should be able to talk to another player on Icecrown, just like a player on Kazzak would be able to /w a player on Draenor, if we were playing on retail. I think a lot of players can relate to having friends on the other server they would like to talk to.
An implementation like writing "Name*" or "Name - Icecrown" when adding someone to friends list (if you are playing on Lordaeron) would be perfect.
I'd like to know what the community wants to say. I am totally open to criticism, and would like to know if you'd support something like this.

I dont see any reason why I would whisper someone on icecrown from lordaeron

It's just convenient to be able to see a friend from icecrown log in and text him, ask him what's up, etc. Same idea with B.net, anyone can talk to anyone on discord but it's convenient to be able to have that person in your friends list and talk to each other.

This is actually a great idea and I love it.
You ask why ?
Well, sometimes I have arena partners that I play with. We know that normally everyone have 43298472893 alts that they like to log into and play. Should I ask them about to provide me with every alt they have so I can check whenever they come online or not ? This is a lot of work. Or should I log different server looking for them? nah. I prefer the idea of battle.net where I can add "account" to my friend list and whisper the guy regardless of what toon he is logged into.
Thumbs up to this idea! please implement this as it will make communication more fun. ON the bright side of things, when ignoring a person, I can ignore an entire account ! This brings me so much joy. I had people send me rude messages and every time I ignore the person, he log a different toon to spam me again. I have to ignore 10 toons because of one person when it could be one time ignore.
See ? it serves a great purpose. I love it.
