So I just hit 80 today, with green and blue gears and only 500 gold, this is my first time playing WoW and currently am in Dalaran I planned to do heroic Lich King dungeons for better gear and gold but I cant because my gear currently sucks and normal dungeons don't give any good gear. Can someone please tell me how to farm gold and get better gear? :(

Do reputation quests, get honored/revered to buy blues. You also get like 100g (dungeon quest) at 80, so gold shouldn't be an issue. When you are friendly with a faction, you can buy a tabard. (But I think you only get rep in HC dungeons with it)

Hey, thanks for responding I have another question: I am 80 right now but quests only give 5 gold and maximum 15 gold (im in dragonblight right now) is it because of the area I'm in or is it because I'm not honored enough? If it is the area can you please tell me an appropriate area for farming gold around my level. Thanks again

And one final question, :D why does purple gear feel so weak? for example I look at Cielstrasza and the gear (on the wiki) she gives doesn't feel right... like for example Dragonfriend Bracers which you need honour level exalted AND its purple but only gives 11 armour 13 agility 22 stamina and 10 crit chance. is it good and im just not dumb oooooor?

Because that purple gear was supposed to be for earlier era of wotlk. They are among the first ones to come thus ''weak''. Fos/pos/hor gonna already have better.

Don't look at the items on wowhead, it's all updated for current retail patch, post stat squish, all that crap.
