So, I'm setting up my macros on a rogue for the first time and finding out that certain abilities (ie Sinister, Garrote, Backstab, Kick so far) all auto-target the nearest enemy. For dmg abilities this is more or less fine, like Sinister and Backstab, but for Kick especially this is incredibly broken. I don't want to kick the nearest enemy, I want to kick my focus. Am I missing some obvious setting somewhere that I don't remember, or did it really work like this back then?
/startattack [nostealth] goes on all my dmg-dealing macros anyway.. /cry
if you target=focus its not gona change target, but will cast it on focus
is that what you mean? I know there is some weird stuff like "sticky targeting" maybe thats the case?
Hey man, thanks for responding. My issue was that certain abilities when clicked/pressed would automatically target whatever enemy was nearest. Obviously not ideal for things like Gouge or Kick.
But I've since figured out a way to fix the issue by just adding [exists] to any abilities that would auto-target.
