1. Itemlevel for rnd heroics

    Hey guys,

whats the itemlevel to join random heroics. sitting at 195ilvl and still cant join and there is only one upgrade i could possibly get from dungeons which would boost my ilvl.

  2. It should be around 190. It's supposed to be 187. No slots are empty? No heirlooms? Other than that, gg

  3. No Heirlooms and no slots are empty still cant join them. Really frustrating

  4. What's your lowest ilvl item. I know on Frostmourne the lowest ilvl I had was 174 and my average ilvl was 190 and I was able to queue.

  5. i have one trinket at 174. rest is 187+

  6. You need at least ilevel 187 set and weapons + one ilevel 200 or more trinket to unlock some RDFH. To unlocked them all, you need all your slots ilevel 200 + at least

  7. What you need is an average itemlevel of 187 across the board. Higher ilvl gear can compensate for lower pieces, for example. So, something doesn't add up here. Are you missing a libram / idol etc. depending on your class?

That is incorrect. 187 average overall is the key. You don't need an ilvl 200 trinket.

if you have a set of ilevel187 items + weapon, you WILL need a trinket of at least ilevel 187 or 200 to be able to queue for a few HDFR.

I have 8 chars level 80 so I went through this 8 times.

My DK has ilevel 187 plate armor + ilevel 200 weapons, couldn't queue RDFH until yesterday when I bought a single ilevel 232 trinket using my points on the website. Now he can queue for some RDFH.

Now you are contradicting yourself. You obviously stated in your first post that you NEED an ilvl 200 trinket to be able to queue for rdf hc. Now it's 'atleast 187 OR 200'? Make up your mind, buddy. All you need is an average ilvl of 187 across the board to be able to queue for some of the hc dungeons.

I have 8 chars level 80 so I went through this 8 times.
That doesn't change the fact that you are wrong, saying that you'd need a trinket with ilvl 200 to be able to queue rdf hc's.

ilevel 187 or 200 why does it matter? My statement is still true.

OP, if you want to queue for RDFH ez pz. Craft you some level 78 gear and find a group to farm at least one TOC trinket and you are fine. Don't forget to do the Knights of Ebon Blade and or Sons of Hodir quest line to have access to some ilevel 200 weapons and gear parts.

  11. find a group to farm at least one TOC trinket and you are fine.
    Not in Frostmourne :D

  12. ilevel 187 or 200 why does it matter? My statement is still true.
No, it's not true because you said he needs it. You could have said he needs an ilvl264 trinket then. He needs an ilvl187, anything above is optional. His point was that the "or 200" was unnecessary and redundant.
This costs $20 so you need $20 or $50. No, you need $20, if you have $50, you still only need $20, remaining $30 is not needed.

  13. Ill add in my 5 cents.

Technically speaking, the dungeon finder system does not work with gearscore. Which means that gearscore cannot offer an exact nor appropriate estimation as to which point you should be able to queue up. For standard heroic dungeon finder, you will need approximately 180 average item level. The quickest way to boost this is to replace your lowest item level items with higher item level items. You could be wearing full 219 item level items, except for a single white pair of boots with an item level of 1. That can massively hurt your average item level, despite having a gearscore value of 4k. Gearscore doesn't average your gear overall, but instead applies a static value to an item and whatever enchants and gems that can be applied to it.

So, if you're having problems queueing, I would suggest that your first step to be replacing any green or white quality items you might be wearing up to at least blue quality.
