    Changing the refresh rate

    I have a small problem with my refresh rate,it's set on 240hz and my laptop can't really handle it ,it goes to 100 degrees ,i want to change it to 144 hz but when i i change it from WTF config and open the game i can't change it from the video it is still stuck on 240 and if i reopen the config from WTF folder it's set again on 240 hz ,what can i do?

    game menu > Video > enable "Vertical Sync"
