Technical Technical help with my computer

Hi,

I need help with a certain fps stuttering and occasional freezes I am getting on a new computer I bought. It is a Dell G3 3579 with an I5 8th gen, 8 gbs of RAM , a GTX 1050, 1 TB HDD and Intel Optane. Those specs are more than sufficient for WoW, I can even play Witcher 3 at medium high graphics without any noticeable fps drops. The freezes occur not so often in the open world/questing/leveling, when raiding it happens more often, and in PvP (battlegrounds specially) it's just much more frequent and annoying.

I tried formatting the computer and re-installing everything, downloaded the game from a different source, disabled all addons, added some lines of commands to the Config.txt file that were suppossed to improve graphics processing, checked the Nvidia drivers and the performance options in the GPU control panel, downloaded a "game booster" software, and lastly, I tried a "4 gb patch" on the game but the freezes still do happen. I used to own an Acer Aspire laptop with a core I5 and integrated graphics and the game ran smooth, having a much more powerful pc handling the game worse makes no sense.

is vertical sync enabled on "video" settings?

I've tried it both enabled and disabled and it still happens, my point though is that this computer could easily run this game at 180 fps and it does but with the occasional stuttering.
