    Banned For Unapropriate gname?

So story goes like this. I made this guild named"Sapped Girls Are Easy" named after my formal blizzard guild named "Sapped Girls Never Say No"
couple of days after iv been contacted by an admind with the ifno that som1 was offended bz it and i have to change the gname and accept my bann. Now how is that fair? AND since when ppl get offended by everything and even wow humor ? Also what can i do about that bann i havent broken any rules of witch im aware of so i dont think i deserve a bann.

I agree with the name change, it was a sexist guild name and had to be changed, but the 4 day ban was over the top.

I dont think its fair. Its clrearly a rogue sapp referance. Do we consider offensive everrything now? Or one people report and thats it, that player gets banned?
In my opinion this is not a deserved ban

Yeah this ban is stupid, even if the name was "inappropriate" it is not worth a ban, just a forced guild name change worst case.

Actually I agree with the rule of guild names being offensive but as long as if it is offensive or not depends on each one i think that the guild name should be changed because someone got offended but as the guy didnt think nobody could get offended so the ban is outof point, this guy should not get banned about that just change the guild name

The guild name was sexist but i don't think the ban is the way to go. It could've been changed at the moment of the GM notification but he was instantly banned without having given the chance to change it.

DeI would also like to add that I can vouch for this person as we ware all in this we never aimed to offend anyone. We use to play retail under that same guild name we are all over our 30s and we felt quite nostalgic as we stooped playing on the best patch WTOLK obviously so you see considering this was allowed on retail we assumed to be ok here as well also he has no option to defend himself and lastly changing the name right away will fix the problem as he didnt know he was doing something that you guys consider wrong whatsoever. Thank you in advance for the time you spend to look into this.

    Regards,

    Christian.

Fair enough a warning and a name change would surfice if it was even inapproriate. The name is allowed on actual Retail WoW. Please reconsider the Ban.

the name was allowed in retail . i think the man didn't do something wrong to get ban people get offended by everything or what we are in 2020

what you all think doesn't matter in the slightest. warmanes server, warmanes decision. if they deem the name inappropriate than that's that. you can appeal the ban through your my account section https://www.warmane.com/account/support , but they have lowest priority and your ban will have expired by the time it gets looked at. so enjoy your vacation.

I did have the chance to choose a new name.O tho i stand by my opinion that there is nothing sexist is the name, and if its viewd like something sexist i guess the problem is in the viewerer himself. If u feel like there is hiden contects in every sentence ppl say that overall undelines the importants of 1 sex over another. Then u can find sexists refrences anywhere !!!

You can have your opinion. You simply aren't free to enforce it when it clashes with our opinion, obviously.
This isn't the sort of matter that's up to debate or attempts to "convince" us. The name was considered inappropriate - likely not just for being sexist, but for the rape implications. That's it.
