    Hunter pets question

    I am currently a level 46 hunter. This is my first time playing WoW in general and I’ve been reading these different hunter guides for WOTLK and I think getting a wolf for now is my best option but I was wondering since they don’t specifically tell you which one to go for. What wolf should I be looking for exactly ? Is it just any wolves my level or should I aim for higher level wolves ? And how does leveling work for them ? Thank you

    Pick one that's as close to your level as possible. They gain XP as you kill stuff and will level at the same speed as you do more less.
