Realms Disconnect between buffed content and Lordaeron

Hey all, me again, been on warmane close to a year now, currently at 69 on my hunter :)
I’ve been thinking, it doesn’t make much sense to me that buffed content is on Lord, the most “vanilla” realm, whereas Icecrown has people powerlevellimg and more rapidly getting to unbuffed raid content. As someone who wants to experience the game as it was originally, it seems like these changes should be the other way around. At the very least, I am very much fond of the idea that buffed content on lord should be as hard as it was pre-nerf, but be an optional setting. Thoughts?

It was requested by the community to have a hardcore realm, not a blizzlike one. People get bored of easy mode gameplay and they wanted a challenge.
