1. how about we actually punish scammers so there arent SO MANY??

Maybe think about a permanent ban for scammers, I mean why even have a limited ban for scammers?? That just encourages it hardcore. Server could be so much better if you actually did something about all the scammers. I mean one guy can scam 50 people in 10 minutes and he'll never ever get any consequence because "no screenshot" even if they have screenshot "it's not good enough" if you have full video and everything "still not good enough" Is this server pro scammer? DO SOMETHING ABOUT ALL THE SCAMMERS FFS!!!!! What is wrong with this server? Why would you take a LIGHT approach to scamming? Are you pro-scammer? Seems like it. There is literally no downside to being a scammer lmao, just use an alternate account obviously. I think I'll go be a scammer now, why not? There's no reason not to be.

And the fact you cannot even get your stuff back no matter what? BS. Come on, as if GMs can't see EVERYTHING on logs, and totally tell when someone is scamming or when a scam just took place. Yall act like you have no control over what goes on ON YOUR OWN REALM, and it's up to players to not get scammed, when apparently you can just change stuff in the trade window last second and trade still goes through. LMAO that's your fault warmane! That's a bug that needs to be fixed! How is that on the players? Total BS. Total absolute BS. You could easily give players there stolen items back but you just too lazy to. Pretty sure old Blizzard gave people their items back, back in the day if you got hacked or scammed, just goes to show the difference. Absolutely sad that Warmane takes a hands off approach to a serious issue ruining their servers. And of course I'm the problem for DARING to say anything, not the millions of scammers out there, which warmane will never do anything about.

  2. I can't comment on logs or if a GM even has access to them, but with how much volume GMs get, I think that it's on the players to provide as much evidence of a scam. Inadequate documentation of a scam can lend itself to GMs making a judgment call, which I'd hate to have them do as they could possibly punish someone of no wrongdoing. I think it's on the trading parties to take reasonable measures to prevent themselves from getting scammed - why should a GM have to arbitrate a given trade to make sure both parties get what they want?
If you want to be 100% sure that you're not getting scammed with item swapping, perhaps you should consider asking for goods as C.O.D. via in game mail, or doing a trade through warmane's trade system
