[ANSWERED]Specific use of Divine Sheild and Divine Intervention
There are various paladin abilities used within raid at ICC however two appear to gather strong opinions from either end of the spectrum. Some say the abilities are fine to as they have been used in wotlk since it was vanilla. Other say the abilities in these circumstances avoid boss tactics and as such are bannable for glitching. Since this is something nobody wants can this be cleared up before used in these situations. As a result, this is aimed at a gm not the person with the loudest speakerphone.
1. Is warmane ok with the use of divine shield on the tanks stacks to remove Gastric Bloat during the Festergut encounter? The advantage is that you can eliminate the need for a second tank adding another dps. You cast divine shield once you get 8-9 stacks to clear stacks to zero then re taunt the boss. This comes at a risk as you have the possibility of loosing agro and the next dps will die. Can generally only be done once per enounter
2. Is warmane ok with using divine intervention when Deathbringer Saurfang targets for the mark of the blood removing it from the encounter? This takes away one dot of damage on one raid member making healing easier. However, this requires the Paladin casting divine intervention within a half a second period on target and guarantees the pallys death requiring a battle res/buffs. Can generally only be done once per enounter
There are a couple more questions for rouges cloak of shadows but we will keep these for another day.
Thank you warmane for proving a fun game and keep up the good work.
