So. I always do the Winter Veil. I love the events Warmane throw at us.
I have also been quite against some of the rewards, because I thought they were rather meaningless.
On the other hand, I also think that you can be a tad too generous.
Once again. I actually enjoy the events.
First of all, a lot of people are getting **** they already have in the first place. It wouldn't be so bad if you actually got stuff you still needed to collect.
Second. 5% chance to get a Black Qiraji Battle tank. I personally have brought one for the 150 coins it costs in the store. I also intended to purchase a second one for my shaman. But it's not even close to rare if this is how we're seeing things from now on.
5% doesn't seem like a lot. But that's 2 people per 40-man raid.
Which also means you'll have a 50% chance of getting it on a character if you just do this chain on 10 different character.
I know people with several accounts, who would do this, just to get that mount alone.
Black Qiraji Battle Tank is an item you can purchase from the store if you have donated 1.000$+ to Warmane or you get lucky with the weekly lottery.
If everyone on Icecrown did this quest on 5 characters then 25% of the server would have Black Qiraji Battle Tank.
How is it even close to rare if 1/4 of the population has one?
I'd really like you to reconsider the drop chances of **** in that loot box before things gets out of hand.
I'm sorry, but I personally work 80 hours a week in order to afford that mount. Some things are supposed to be rare. This one should have never been this easy to get.
If you want it to drop, lower the drop chance before your whales on the server stop keeping you alive.
No offense meant by this. It's just a thought and a suggestion. I'm not here to play high and mighty with bragging rights. But I do believe some specific items should be meant for people who actually help keeping this server alive. I've been here since 2011. I've done my fair share with playtime, raiding and support.
Maybe it's time you reconsider the way you're heading.
To sum it up. I think the loot table of the bag from the quest chain is broken. Would do it on another character. But I, as a donator feel like some of my money has been a waste by now. I did enjoy the event. Was pretty cool to me.

That's some next level math right there.
So, now you're mad that something you paid for can be obtained pretty easily? Sort of how they fixed Ulduar and fragments so Valanyr is now relatively easy to get, same as an SM.
Also, if you're talking about the questline, are you completely sure it's doable? Since, afaik, the gates need to be closed. I remember a while back someone complained they couldn't finish it and someone replied saying you're not actually able to complete it.

I'm not mad. I just don't get how it's fair at any point.
The quest line has been removed, which makes the Qiraji Battle Tank hell of a rare item.
I wouldn't have had a problem with it, if it wasn't a premium item in the first place. But it is. It's a premium item for those who has been here for hell of a long time. Being a veteran on Warmane should have its plus sides that are not gamebreaking. But handing out an item that should due to the patch be unobtainable is just weird.
I'm sorry if you're not a donator and you're poor as hell. I made a choice in supporting Warmane to keep them running. For that, I chose to purchase a very rare mount. Giving it out to 20% of the entire server population makes it worth nothing and makes my 150 coins fall down a drain.
We might not have the same view, but no need to make fun of other people.
