So today I tried to log in and it says I have been banned for 5 days.
The only occasion where I can think of there being a reason (not really but some guy did say he was gonna report me) for this to happen was in a dungeon a few days ago where besides me the only plate wearer was a warrior.
A plate healing item dropped and I asked if they would mind me needing it (even tho I was dps).
Everyone said it was fine and got it. A few seconds after a warlock said he was gonna get me reported for that lmao and today I am banned.
How is this justifiable?
How do I make an appeal for the ban? How do I even check if this is the reason as to why I got banned?
You can make a ban appeal using on support system on website here but ban appeal tickets usually take about a week and they won't tell you what the ban was for.
It's possible to get banned for that. If the warlock did not agree to it, he can report it. And even if he did agree, you would need a screenshot of it to do something about it.
I even offered to give him the vendor gold. I really cannot see how is this justifiable.. he couldnt use it anyway.
I needed my account today as I was gonna raid with some friends, I guess that wont be happening as I dont have the habit ot screenshoting everytime I get an item lolol
i would recommend never rolling need on an item not for your spec. even if everyone in the group agrees. it's far to easy for a person to take a screenshot of your roll but leaving out the part where everyone agreed. and even if you have a screenshot, ban appeals take longer than 5 days to get viewed most times so it won't even help.
Yea I get it now, the way things work favours reports even if unfair ones.
Amazes my mind how someone can do something like this unprovoked, out maliciousness alone but it is what it is :-)
If he didn't agree that you can roll NEED for your OS - you cant. What is so malicious there? You directly denied him chance to get dream shard, chance he deserves same as you deserve it. After you get "burned" few times onthese "mah imaginary spec", kidly allow them to roll for OS NEED, then you kind of feel something shady, check up his armory and he doesnt even have offspec, but his enchanting skill is pretty nice tough, his posted dream shards on AH look quite nice too. Then you get sick of being exploited and report "entitled *******s".
He didnt say a thing until minutes after when I needed it and won the roll at which point I offered to give him gold and he refused. Had he checked my armory as you say you do he would see that my main spec is holy and that I dont even have enchanting. But some people are just ****s who get off from these little power trips .
Reminds me of Randall weems from recess
People agreed /didnt oppose before I rolled, after I got it the warlock starts to spam a imgur link saying im gonna get banned. He even got kicked out of the party because of being annoying

Not opposing or not saying anything isn't agreeing to it. Unless everyone explicitly says "Yes you can roll" you can't need it.
That's quite different from what you initially said.
You made it look like someone had faked evidence, agreeing to it and then reporting with their agreement omitted. That was never the case, as they never agreed to it, though. While you could try to claim they "led you on" by not saying anything, it was still you who decided to roll Need without everyone giving you their okay, which is what got you banned.
