WotLK Can't Complete Hunter Pet Quest

I made a new hunter on Icecrown and for some reason cannot complete the quest to learn my pet, The quest is "Taming the Beast" which is the 2nd quest in the chain. Each time I try to tame the Great Timberstrider it say's that I am already controlling another creature and fails to let me tame it. I tried abandoning and reaquiring the quest only for it to continue to fail as I have attempted it 5 times now, Can ANYONE help ??? My toon's name is Pirala level 13 Draenei Hunter

Seem's that either a admin / GM fixed this for me or it reset itself after being logged out for a few hours as when I logged back in after playing on another toon for a few hours I was then able to complete the quest chain

I just ran into the same problem as well as a few other people. I think it's due to not dismissing your spider from the first part. My spider's portrait wasn't even under mine, but it's action bar was still there. Had to log out to get rid of it and then everything was fine.

how can i talk a GM i did my job but i did not take my beast training skill is that a bug i need reall help
