Character trading

I've been trying to trade my characters on icecrown for awhile because i wanna change up class and dont wanna start from 0 but my characters never seem to sell. Has anyone ever successfully traded a character and does anyone have any tips on actually selling them? I aint even fussed about how much i get for them really at this point, the minimum sale cost just seems to be higher than people are willing to pay. Or is character trade just dead?

For Icecrown:
- unequip BoP gear unless it's a good heroic piece
- equip as many BoE's as you can
- make it 30-40 coins
- advertise on global a lot

Keep in mind people can donate for heroic gear on Icecrown, you level quickly and there's a 20 coins lvl 80 boost service.
You need to make the offer good compared to their other options or else there's no reason for them to go search through hundreds of characters on trade.

2x proff (like bs+jc)
Some good achievs, mounts, gold would improve chance
That should bring You 30 coins (I mean 25, cause 5 is tax)

If You have any BiS part (weapon, trinkets, good armor or jewelery parts) keep it on. It raises price.
