WotLK Specific character name saved on different account I cannot access anymore

Hello! I am unsure if I should be posting this in the forums or that there is another way of contacting support but I just wanted to ask the Warmane Support Team if there is a way to help me make a certain character name available somehow.

The certain name is "Eranors" (same as my forum name) and is on the "Icecrown" realm, but it seems I might have saved in on an alternate account some time in the past for reasons I cannot remember or might be something else.

When I started playing again 2 days ago I started a new character on this account (which is my main account) with the same name in the "Frostmourne" realm, but in the realm list it said I also have 1 existing character in "Icecrown". Once I got in to check if it's my old character there was nothing there. I tried to create a char. of the same name but the name was unavailable. Made a different one to add the character that apparently has that name to my friends list to see if it is really taken and once I added "Eranors", it just said "Unknown" as a status and no more information.

So my question is, if there is a chance that somehow you can give me back access to that account even though I really cannot remember what any of the info was so I can delete the character to use it on my main account, or if it would be possible to make the name available for me somehow? I thank you in advance!

TL;DR: Name I have used for a long time is apparently not saved on main account but on another, don't have access to said account, want to try and get access to acc. to delete toon from there or get premission to use the name some way else if possible (Eranors, Icecrown)

EDIT 1: Found the character as a level 1 Blood Elf Rogue in the Armory who does not seem to have been used at all, so like I suspected I probably just saved the name sometime back in an alternate account I cannot get access to at this time.

EDIT 2: Was able to retrieve the details of one alternate account I could think of on my own but the name was not saved there.

You'll have to wait for a yearly name cleanup to take it on Icecrown.

You can try contacting Support with [email protected] for the possibility of recovering this account you supposedly own, but without any information about it to back up this ownership I wouldn't really count on it happening. The name won't otherwise be manually released before an inactivity clean up.
