Hey there,
I was banned for purchasing gold from a third party site (I am not disputing this). However I did try and donate several times only to be informed that my country is not supported for payments so I had no other choice - was wondering if this is just reason for an unban? how long does it take to typically get a reply?

The problem is, the gold on 3rd party sites is often gained via rule breaking actions (bot).
You could try using VPN, see if it enables you to donate. You can buy paysafecards from many countries, and I think Warmane accepts/offers paysafecard donation method around most countries. So you could look into that.
I don't think it's just reason for an unban. However, depending on truthfulness of your claim, who knows, maybe Warmane will show you some leniency (don't expect it to).
Ban appeal replies, as Thorbjorn said before me, is more or less than a week.
