1. Unable to reuse name for character transferred from Frostmourne

    I have a character that I transferred from Frostmourne to Icecrown, where I had another character of the same name. I thought it would be a simple matter of deleting the old character and then re-using that name for the ex-Frostmourne character, but it's not working. My ex-Frostmourne character already has the correct name, but when I log in with him I'm prompted to rename. Typing in the correct name fails because, of course, the name is taken - by the character that I'm being asked to rename.

    I guess I need a GM to remove the rename flag? I can be confident that the name wasn't taken by someone else because I first tried the rename within seconds of deleting the old character, and it's definitely not a contested or common name.

    I opened a ticket in-game on an alt and was told to open a ticket on the website, but the only thing it allows me to open tickets about there is a ban appeal. With no ban to appeal, I can go no further, so I turn to the forums.

  3. Experiencing the same issue I've opened a ticket 3 days ago still no answer.
