WotLK No Clue What I'm Doing

Hey guys,

So, I definitely need some help. I have a 4272 GS, and nothing I need has dropped in my last 10+ normal instances, but I'm not strong enough for heroics and have no idea how to find what I need to become strong enough.

I have an ilvl 112 shield, but don't know how to search loot tables to find the gear that I need or what instances to farm. I definitely need some advice and some tools!

I feel like there's nothing left for me to do other than grind argent rep for a helm I don't really need.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also, does anyone know where to go to study the fights? Everyone seems to think everyone else knows what's going on during an instance and well, I don't XD I need to study up, and I don't know where to go to do that. Anybody who can give me a website, forum post, I mean, friggin' anything would be awesome. Wowhead suuuuuuucks haha XD

Well, for starters you should install atlasloot addon. It contains all the gear sorted by bosses in instances, vendors, etc. You can browse that and determine where the gear you need is. Also, download DBM addon. It shows you what happens during boss fights and tells you when you need to run away, stop attacking etc.

Check AH, you can get some green 178 ilvl shield for some 50g. Even with proper stats for you. There are actually lots of really cheap blue 180 or 200 ilvl items, they go cheaper than Dream Shard even, you can make money by disenchanting them.
